Job summary

Idexcel is seeking a CAD PLM Process Lead for our Pune office at Kalyani Nagar. The role requires deep expertise in 3DX CATIA native application, CAD data structures, and 3DX data modeling. 10–13 years of experience in CAD/PLM is ideal.

You will drive CAD PLM processes, data setup, and automation initiatives, collaborating with clients to define and implement robust CAD solutions in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech required.
• 10–13 years of experience preferred.
• CAD PLM experience in 3DX environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD PLM process design and implementation in 3DX CATIA native environment.
• Manage CAD data setup, data links, and data quality across projects.
• Coordinate with clients to capture requirements and ensure buy-in for solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• Understanding of CAD design process and major tools like CATIA, CREO and NX
• Good knowledge of CAD data structure and how various links are managed between them
• Strong understanding of 3DExperience data model
• Knowledge of various options available within 3DX for creation of CAD data
• Expertise in 3DX CATIA native application and different design related applications it supports
• Knowledge of Power Copies, Engg Templates, Core/Covering Materials
• Good hold on 3DX concepts of BLs, Triggers, Data Setup etc. which are needed to manage CAD data and their quality
• Knowledge of automation possibilities is a plus since there is lot of scope for CAD automation in SBD
• Good communication skills to get the requirement for client and explain the defined solutions to get their buy-in
