1. Position Overview
The CAD Manager will lead and manage all CAD/BIM productionactivities for large‑scale linear infrastructure projects such as highways,expressways, rail lines, metro corridors, and track alignments. This role isresponsible for establishing drafting standards, managing complex design data,coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high‑quality deliverablesaligned with international engineering standards.
The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managingCAD environments for global projects, strong coordination skills, and theability to lead digital engineering workflows across dispersed teams.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Develop,implement, and maintain CAD standards, templates, and workflows for linearinfrastructure projects.
- Managethe end‑to‑end CAD production process for road, highway, and railwaydesign deliverables.
- Leadand mentor a team of CAD designers, technicians, and modelers acrossmultiple disciplines.
- Conductregular quality checks to ensure drawings meet project, client, andinternational standards.
B. Project Coordination
- Reviewand approve final drawings, models, and design deliverables.
- CoordinateCAD activities between disciplines including highways, structures,drainage, utilities, geotechnical, and rail alignment.
- Collaboratewith design managers, discipline leads, and global teams to ensureseamless data flow and design integration.
- Manageinterfaces with international consultants and clients.
- Ensurecompliance with global standards such as AASHTO, AREMA, BS/EN, IRC, orproject‑specific guidelines.
- Promotecontinuous improvement and digital innovation in CAD workflows.
- Establishbest practices, automated tools, and scripting to enhance productivity.
3. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’sor Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 15+years of CAD/drafting experience in infrastructure engineering.
- Minimum5 years of experience on international linear infrastructure projects (roads, highways, metro, rail, LRT, track design, etc.).
- Strongunderstanding of alignment geometry, corridor modelling, cross‑sections,rail profiles, and utility interfaces.
- Experiencewith cloud collaboration tools (ProjectWise, BIM360, Bentley CONNECT).
- Familiaritywith global design standards (AASHTO, BS/EN, AREMA, Eurocode, IRC).
- Capabilityto work with multicultural and geographically distributed teams.

C. Software & Technical Expertise
- AutoCAD,MicroStation.
- BasicExposure on Civil 3D, Open Roads/Open Rail, Navisworks and BIM Work Flows.
- Ensureall CAD systems are updated, licensed, and configured according to projectrequirements.
- Overseedigital data management, file structures, reference models, and versioncontrol.
