Job summary

Assystem in India is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil 3D Draftsperson with experience in highway and road infrastructure projects. You will develop accurate design drawings and grading/corridor models while supporting the engineering and BIM teams throughout project delivery. Candidates should be proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD, understand highway design principles and road standards, and contribute to earthwork calculations and quality checks. Immediate joiner preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma Civil or B.Tech Civil is required.
• Experience with highway and road infrastructure projects preferred.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD essential.
• Ability to prepare 2D/3D drawings and corridor models.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings/models for highway projects.
• Develop horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, and profiles.
• Create road corridors and grading models.
• Update drawings based on design inputs and client comments.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil 3D Draftsperson with experience in highway and road infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate design drawings, grading and corridor models while supporting the engineering and BIM teams throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings/models for highway and road infrastructure projects, including:
• Horizontal and vertical alignments
• Cross-sections and typical sections
• Longitudinal profiles
• Interchanges, junctions, and roundabouts
• Road corridors and grading models
• Develop, modify, and update drawings/models based on design inputs, client comments, and project requirements.

• Ensure all deliverables comply with project specifications, client standards, and relevant codes.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, earthwork calculations, and basic design detailing.
• Perform quality checks and reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of drawings and models.

Technical Skills Required

• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (mandatory).
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience in corridor modeling, surface creation, grading, and quantity take-offs.
• Understanding of highway design principles, geometric design, and road standards.
• Preparation of site grading and earthwork models for solar farms using Civil 3D.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in highway and road infrastructure projects is essential.
• Experience in solar projects, including site grading, grading optimization, earthwork analysis, solar array layouts, access roads, drainage, and cable trench design.
