Job summary

TYPSA India is seeking an experienced Civil CAD/Drafting engineer in Gurugram to support infrastructure projects. A Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering is required, with 8+ years of CAD/drafting experience and exposure to international linear infrastructure work.

You will work with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads and OpenRail, coordinating with multi‑national teams and adhering to global design standards such as AASHTO, EN/BS, AREMA and Eurocode.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of CAD/drafting experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on international linear infrastructure projects (roads, highways, metro, rail, LRT, track design, etc.).
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenRail, and related platforms.
• Strong understanding of alignment geometry, corridor modelling, cross-sections, rail profiles, and utility interfaces.
• Experience with cloud collaboration tools (ProjectWise, BIM360, Bentley CONNECT).
• Familiarity with global design standards (AASHTO, BS/EN, AREMA, Eurocode, IRC).
• Capability to work with multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong documentation and quality-control mindset
