Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking a CAD designer to produce and modify detailed drawings from sketches and layouts. You will support manufacturing by implementing design changes and verifying plots for accuracy and standards compliance.

You will collaborate with engineers on model accuracy, drafting standards, and ECN/ECR documents while maintaining file storage and backup protocols.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of CAD design experience.
• Ability to modify drawings from sketches/layouts.
• Ensure drawings conform to standards.
• Collaborate with engineers on model accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed drawings using CAD equipment and software.
• Contribute design modifications to facilitate manufacturing and quality.
• Check drawing plots against project inputs for correctness and conformance to standards.
• Coordinate with engineers on model accuracy, drafting standards, and ECN/ECR documentation.
• Maintain and back up design files as part of system management.

Role & responsibilities

Creates and modifies detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts, or notes provided by engineering. Contributes design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. Checks drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards. Works with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards, and ECN/ECR documentation. May work with system management including file maintenance, backup, and storage.
