Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Hyderabad, India seeks an experienced CAD Technician/Engineer to oversee creation and modification of detailed drawings from vendor information, including 3D files and 2D AutoCAD drawings. You will produce assemblies in Inventor and convert them to AutoCAD blocks using FDU and Revit families, ensuring proper connections as documented by vendors.

You will QA/QC Inventor, AutoCAD, and Revit outputs to meet standards, and collaborate with customers to manage the CAD Technician

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of CAD experience.
• Ability to QA/QC Inventor, AutoCAD, and Revit assets.
• Experience coordinating production schedules for CAD Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the creation and modification of detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from vendor information that could be a 3D file, a 2D AutoCAD drawing, or a.pdf.
• Final output is assemblies in Inventor to be converted to AutoCAD blocks via Factory Design Utilities (FDU), Revit families , and documented point of connection information from the vendors for each component. Will manage the production schedule for the CAD Technicians through collaboration with the customer.
• Will perform QA/QC on the final output from the CAD Technicians by checking the Inventor, AutoCAD, and Revit assets to ensure that the standards are met.
• May work with system management including file maintenance, backup, and storage.
