Job summary

Enerparc Energy Private Limited. is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer - Wind based in Bangalore North to lead detailed engineering for wind systems, including layout, SLDs, and BOMs. You will verify plant performance post-installation and coordinate with vendors and customers.

The role requires 6–10 years in design/engineering, BE in electrical/ mechanical/ wind engineering, and proficiency with WindPRO/OpenWind, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Travel may be required to support projects and clients.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical / Mechanical / Wind Engineering is required.
• 6–10 years of total work experience in design and engineering.
• Based in Bangalore with willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, structural analysis, and optimization of wind power projects for performance and grid compliance.
• Single point responsibility for project engineering during the engineering phase, including layouts and BOMs.
• Analyze wind patterns using WindPRO or OpenWind to estimate energy generation.
• Design, review, and approve detailed designs, drawings, and procedures for foundations, WTG equipment, and substations.
• Prepare RfPs and clear vendor drawings for major components like wind turbines, transformers, HT/LT panels, and SCADA systems.
• Ensure smooth transfer of information to Projects/SCM/site team/QA and O&M.

Therole is to be responsible for preparation of Detailed engineering documentsincluding Layout, SLD, Design documents for Wind system including AC sizing forequipment like Transformer, CT, PT, Substation connectivity, SCADAarchitecture, Detailed BoM and Plant performance verification afterinstallation of the wind power plant.

Roles andresponsibilities

• The Wind System Engineer will be responsible for the design,structural analysis, and optimization of wind power projects, ensuringstructural stability, performance efficiency, and grid compliance
• Single point responsibility for project engineering during engineeringphase for wind systems by doing Detailed system design, arriving at optimum generationdata, preparing layouts, bill of material and SLDs as a part of submission to internalor external stake holders (Vendors and Customers).
• Responsible for Analyzing wind patterns usingtools like WindPRO or OpenWind to estimate energy generation
• Responsible for Design, Review and Approval ofdetailed design, drawings and procedures related to all Foundations (basiclevel), WTG equipment’s, transmission & substation components, such asstep-up transformers, switchyard, interfacing with national and state gridpolicies, etc.
• Responsible for Preparation of RfPs and clearingof vendor drawings for major components like Wind turbines, transformers, HTand LT panels, UPS, Battery and battery chargers, SACDA system monitoring.
• Responsible for correct plant performance estimation and arriving atoptimum Bill of Materials.
• Preparation of As-built drawings and providing plant performance forhanding over the project to Operation and maintenance.
• Responsible for obtaining necessary inputs from internal / externalcustomers for designing optimum electrical system and attending customer /consultant/Vendor meetings as and when necessary.
• Responsible for smooth transfer of information to Projects / SCM / siteteam/QA and O&M and other customers.
• Responsible for on time preparation and submission of documents forexecution of the project.

• Expertise in MS office package
• Working knowledge of WindPro, AutoCAD and other relevant softwarepackages.
• Should have bird’s eye view on entire Wind system including electrical,Mechanical, civil and structural elements of Wind system.
• Good Understanding of Different wind turbines design & technology,Transformers, CT, PT and other substation related equipment.
• Knowledge of solar ground mount system engineering is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills – written and spoken – English andHindi
