Job summary

Jewel Nxt Com in Mumbai is seeking a Jewelry CAD Designer to create production-ready 3D jewelry designs using JewelCAD 5.1. You will translate sketches or client requirements into accurate CAD models suitable for manufacturing and casting.

Required is proficiency in JewelCAD 5.1, a solid understanding of jewelry construction, and knowledge of gemstone settings. Diploma in Jewelry CAD is preferred; 3–5 years of experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JewelCAD 5.1 is required.
• Solid understanding of jewelry construction and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of gemstones and diamond settings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to work from sketches or reference materials.
• Diploma or certification in Jewelry CAD / Jewelry Design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D jewelry designs using JewelCAD 5.1.
• Design rings, pendants, earrings, bangles, and custom pieces.
• Develop precise stone settings (prong, bezel, pav, channel, etc.).
• Prepare CAD files for 3D printing, wax printing, and casting.
• Modify designs based on client or production feedback.
• Ensure correct stone sizes, metal thickness, and tolerances.
• Check models for manufacturability and structural strength.
• Coordinate with production, casting, and setting teams.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
