Job summary

Grown Diamond Corporation is seeking an experienced Jewellery CAD Designer to create production-ready 3D models for diamond and gold jewellery. You will work with Rhino, MatrixGold, and 3Design to ensure dimensional accuracy, feasible manufacturing, and optimal material usage.

Responsibilities include coordinating with production and stone-setting teams, delivering on tight deadlines, and maintaining high-quality outputs to minimize rework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of jewellery CAD designing experience.
• Proficiency in Rhino, MatrixGold, 3Design or equivalent jewellery CAD software.
• Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing, casting, polishing, and stone-setting processes.
• Experience designing diamond and gold jewellery collections.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D CAD models using Rhino, MatrixGold, 3Design, or similar software.
• Develop manufacturing-ready designs with proper metal thickness, structural integrity, and technical feasibility.
• Ensure accurate stone layouts, pavé settings, prong dimensions, and stone placement.
• Optimize metal weight while maintaining design aesthetics, durability, and production requirements.
• Coordinate with production, casting, and stone-setting teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Deliver CAD designs within defined timelines to support production schedules.
• Minimize design errors, rework, and manufacturing rejections through high-quality outputs.

About The Role
