Job summary

Assystem India seeks an experienced BIM professional to lead MEP modeling for infrastructure projects in Navi Mumbai. You will create, update, and manage BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD MEP, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance across disciplines.

Responsibilities include cross-disciplinary coordination, clash detection, producing shop drawings, and maintaining project documentation with version control. A strong focus on QA/QC and mentoring junior modellers is expected.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5–20 years of hands-on BIM modeling experience for MEP systems is required.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks; solid understanding of MEP systems and clash detection methodologies.

Job Description

1. BIM Model Creation and Management:

• Develop, update, and maintain MEP BIM models utilizing industry-standard software such as Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
• Ensure strict adherence to project requirements, standards, and protocols to maintain model accuracy and integrity.

• Conduct thorough coordination of MEP models with other disciplines, including structural and architectural components.
• Implement rigorous clash detection and resolution processes to mitigate potential conflicts.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and implement robust version control measures for all BIM models.

• Perform regular and systematic quality checks to ensure model accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Promptly identify and report any design or coordination issues to senior team members for immediate resolution.

• Maintain current knowledge of cutting-edge BIM technologies, software updates, and industry best practices.
• Provide essential support to senior modellers and project leads in training and mentoring initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5- 20years of demonstrable, hands-on experience in BIM modeling for MEP systems is required.
  • Proven track record of involvement in MEP design and coordination for commercial, residential, or industrial projects is essential.

• Technical Proficiencies:

  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software including Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, or equivalent BIM platforms is non-negotiable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems and workflows is crucial.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clash detection methodologies and resolution processes is imperative.
