Job summary

Assystem is seeking a skilled BIM Architectural Draftsman in Gurugram to support architectural and BIM projects through preparation, development, and coordination of accurate architectural drawings and 3D BIM models. The candidate will work with architects, engineers, and BIM coordinators to ensure drawings and models comply with project standards and BEP requirements.

The role requires 3–8 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Revit Architecture and AutoCAD, and strong coordination

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Architecture or related field.
• Certification in BIM/Revit is a plus.
• Experience with BIM workflows and Revit preferred.
• Knowledge of architectural drafting and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models and architectural drawings.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and drawings.
• Create CAD/BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Incorporate design changes into BIM models and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with BEP, standards and conventions.
• Review models for accuracy, completeness, and clashes.
• Support BIM coordinators and project teams as needed.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled BIM Architectural Draftsman to support architectural and BIM projects through the preparation, development, and coordination of accurate architectural drawings and 3D BIM models. The candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, BIM coordinators, and project teams to ensure drawings and models comply with project standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate BIM models and architectural drawings based on design and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and construction drawings.
• Create and modify architectural models using Autodesk Revit.
• Coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions into BIM models and drawings.
• Prepare drawings suitable for Design Development, Tender, IFC, and Construction stages.
• Ensure drawings and BIM models comply with project-specific BIM standards, naming conventions, and documentation requirements.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Identify and report discrepancies, clashes, and coordination issues to the BIM/Design team.
• Assist BIM Coordinators and Architects in model development and project documentation.
• Maintain proper file structures, drawing registers, revisions, and documentation.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and implement comments received from project stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned drawings and models as per project schedules.
• Follow company, client, and project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and CAD/BIM standards.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit Architecture.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Understanding of architectural drafting and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and model coordination.
• Ability to understand architectural drawings, specifications, and design concepts.
• Knowledge of architectural building components, materials, and construction methods.
• Basic understanding of Navisworks and BIM coordination/clash detection is preferred.
• Familiarity with Revit families, templates, sheets, schedules, annotations, and model organization.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and documentation practices is an advantage.

Experience

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting and BIM modelling.
• Experience working on large-scale building/infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination will be an advantage.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional certification in BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.
