Job summary

Coforge seeks an experienced finance professional to lead Payroll Accounting, Statutory Compliance, Audits, and Payroll Governance within the R2R function in India. You will ensure accurate payroll accounting, timely reporting, and full compliance with Indian payroll and labor laws.

You will drive end-to-end payroll activities, collaborate with HR, Tax, and Finance, and spearhead continuous governance improvements to strengthen controls and processes.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
• Payroll month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Compliance with PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, and other statutory requirements.
• Lead internal, external, and statutory payroll audits.
• Regulatory filings, inspections, and notices.
• Evaluate impact of new labor codes and implement changes.
• Strengthen payroll controls, governance and process efficiency.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Tax and Finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities
