Coforge is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead Payroll Accounting, Statutory Compliance, Audits, and Payroll Governance within the Record-to-Report (R2R) function in India.

You will ensure accurate payroll accounting, timely financial reporting, and ongoing compliance with Indian payroll and labor laws, working with HR, Tax, and Finance teams to strengthen controls and governance. The role involves leading month-end and year-end closings and adapting to evolving labor codes.

Qualifications

• CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) or M.Com with relevant finance experience.
• Experience in Payroll Accounting, Finance Controllership, Shared Services, or Global Finance Operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indian payroll regulations and labour laws.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end payroll accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
• Drive payroll-related month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, and other statutory requirements.
• Lead internal, external, and statutory payroll audits.
• Manage regulatory filings, assessments, inspections, and notices.
• Evaluate the impact of new labor codes and implement necessary process changes.
• Strengthen payroll controls, governance, and process efficiency.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Tax, and Finance stakeholders.
