Job summary

Quest Global in India is seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer with automation leadership to design and steer test automation programs. You will implement robust UI/API/end-to-end tests using C#, Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow and NUnit, and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in quality engineering, strong mentoring skills, and proven ability to build scalable automation frameworks in Agile or SAFe environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software quality engineering with 3+ years in senior automation roles.
• Strong C# programming and automation development experience.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow, NUnit or equivalent.
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining test-automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Strong knowledge of UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, mentoring, and technical-leadership skills.
• Experience working in Agile or SAFe development environments.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test design, automation, and analysis.

Work Experience

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Must have Experience

• 6+ years of experience in software quality engineering, including a minimum of three years in a senior or lead automation role.


• Strong programming and automation-development experience in C#.


• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow, NUnit, or equivalent technologies.


• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification.


• Proven experience designing and maintaining test-automation frameworks from the ground up.


• Strong knowledge of UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.


• Experience integrating automated tests with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable CI/CD platforms.
