Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our Bengaluru-based team. The candidate will work in a hybrid setup (2-3 days in office) and contribute to building robust automation suites using C#, TypeScript, and Playwright across web services and APIs.

Strong knowledge of SQL and API testing is essential to ensure data integrity and scalable test frameworks. The role requires 4-7 years of hands-on experience in automation, testing frameworks, and modern testing practices,

Job description

Location: Bangalore Or Chennai

Work Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days WFO)

Experience Required -4-7 years

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficient in automation testing using C#, with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining robust test scripts.
• Experience on Playwright automation toolused across various testing projects.
• Proficient in TypeScript with solid practical experience.
• Exposure to designing and implementing custom automation frameworksincluding Modular, BDD, and Page Object Model.
• Solid understanding of Web service testing conceptsand best practices.
• Automated end-to-end API workflows, including authentication (OAuth, Bearer tokens), CRUD operations, and error handling scenarios.
• Practical experience with industry-standard API testing toolsincluding Fiddler, SOAP UI, and Postman.
• Strong working knowledge of databases and SQL; adept at writing complex queries to create, manipulate, and analyses test data.

Additional Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Strong grasp of SoftwareQuality Assurance(SQA) methodologiesand testing principles.
• Working knowledge of TFS (Team Foundation Server)and Microsoft Test Manager (MTM)for test management and version control.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a clear understanding of sprint-based development and continuous testing.
• Proven ability to perform test data setup across integrated systems, including identifying and managing data dependencies.
• Well-versed in the defect management lifecycle, from defect identification and logging to tracking and resolution.
