Job summary

Ness Digital Engineering seeks a QA – Senior to lead testing across systems, functionality, and APIs. You will develop test plans, scripts, and data for manual and automated testing, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure high quality deliveries.

The role demands hands-on expertise with Postman, JavaScript, Selenium/Playwright, and SQL Server, plus experience in CI tools like TFS/Jenkins. Strong communication and analytical abilities are essential for success in agile projects.

Qualifications

• BE with 4-6 years in Testing and Automation for web applications and REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with Postman API automation and JavaScript
• Hands-on SQL Server
• Proficient with UI automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium
• Experience with TFS & GIT
• Knowledge of C# and unit testing frameworks like MSTest, NUnit or XUnit
• Excellent knowledge of QA methodologies, standards, and best practices
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with eye for detail
• Knowledge of SQL to create and debug data sets
• Experience in Agile software development
• Experience in Web API, WCF and webservices testing tools like SOAPUI, Postman
• Experience in CI tools like TFS/Jenkins

Responsibilities

• Perform System, Functionality, Integration, GUI/UI and Regression Testing both manually and through automation

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing System, Functionality, Integration, GUI /UI and Regression Testing both Manual and Automation testing (using Postman, hands on experience with JavaScript, .NET framework, Selenium, Playwright or other automation framework)
• Developing Test Plan, Test Scripts, Test Cases and Test Data both Manual and Automation scripts using Selenium/any other automation framework
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams for closing identified issues, follow-ups, tracking.
• Capable of working as an individual and a Strong team player with excellent communication, coordinating, relationship building skills with Team Members and Business Users
• Excellent analytical skills with Fast and self-studying learner of new and required technologies.
• Develop deep Product knowledge over a period.
• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Developing Traceability Matrix and defect metrics report to identify the latency and slippage of defects.

Required Skills/Experience

• B.E with 4-6y years of experience in Testing, Automation for web applications, REST APIs
