Job summary

Quest Global in Chennai seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to design and build scalable automation frameworks, integrate them with CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will develop and execute automated test cases across functional, regression, and integration testing, and mentor juniors while collaborating with developers and product teams.

Strong experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber, plus API testing

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will design and build scalable automation frameworks, integrate them with CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Work Experience

• Strong experience in automation framework design and development.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Playwright
• Cucumber (BDD framework)
• Solid understanding of functional testing principles and test case design techniques.
• Experience in API testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Test case creation and execution
• Identifying edge case scenarios
• Defect tracking and reporting
• Good understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in CI/CD integration for automation pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
