Position Overview:
As a Buyer, you will be part of the Materials team, working closely with Production and Engineering teams. The Buyer is responsible for maintaining work orders and production schedules based on MRP recommendations and customer demand to ensure the controlled flow of work and materials through manufacturing. The Buyer will also purchase direct and indirect material, and contracted services for manufactured components. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, ability to think strategically, and excellent problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision‑making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI‑generated outputs.
