Job summary

The iScale is seeking a Finance/Business Analyst capable of understanding accounting concepts and revenue recognition to support cross-functional teams. The role requires documenting business processes, preparing BRDs, and managing testing cycles for system changes.

The successful candidate will liaise between business and technical teams, assist with month-end to year-end closures, and ensure ASC-606 alignment in requirements. Strong communication and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have an excellent understanding of Accounting Concepts and Revenue Recognition concepts.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate with product/project teams to elicit functional requirements and capture business needs.
• Documenting business processes using standard business process and data flow diagrams, BRDs (Business Requirement Document), and Test Cases
• Develop test plans and manage user testing for system changes
• Coordinates and conducts user support and training.
• Assist/Support customers in Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end closure processes.
• Guide the Business Team wherever there is a deviation in requirements from ASC-606 guidance.
• Interact with End-users on clarification of incidents/problems and provide resolution to global users
• Brainstorm with other development team members and provide high-level solution design and task estimates
• Configuration of systems to meet business requirements.
• Provide support in troubleshooting both application and business process issues.
• Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

• Must be willing to work during PST workinghours
• Must have a strong analytical ability, quick decision-making, and be able to identify and set priorities.
