Job summary

Policybazaar.com seeks a capable Segment Lead/Program Manager for Business–Operations & Strategy in Gurgaon. You will bridge central business and on-ground operations, growing the motor portfolio in your state through insights, competitive intelligence, and targeted strategies.

You will drive operational excellence, monitor productivity and conversion metrics, and collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Strategy teams to localize state initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business strategy, analytics, or consulting.
• MBA preferred from a Tier 1 institute.
• Strong command of Excel; SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management and structured problem-solving abilities.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an analytical, proactive, and driven professional to join us as a Segment Lead/ Program Manager for Business– Operations & Strategy for our Motor team.

In this role, you’ll be the strategic and operational bridge between the central business team and the on-ground operations, ensuring our regional centers run efficiently, strategically aligned and business goals are met. A key part of your mandate will be to grow the business in your state by leveraging local insights, customer understanding, and competitive intelligence to influence strategy and execution.

What You’ll Do:

Drive operational excellence by identifying process gaps and implementing structured solutions.

Grow the business in your region by:

• Leveraging local market insights,
• Conducting competitive analysis,
• Recommending targeted strategies.

Monitor key business metrics (productivity, conversion levers, quality, customer experience) and partner with regional teams to improve outcomes.

Conduct data analysis to identify trends and uncover insights

Collaborate with central Analytics, Product, and Strategy teams to localize and execute state-level initiatives.

Run structured program reviews with center leadership to align goals, track progress, and ensure accountability.

Lead special projects focused on process automation, performance improvement, or customer experience enhancement.

What we are looking for:

3+ years of experience in business strategy, analytics, consulting, or a similar role (MBA preferred).

Strong command of Excel; knowledge of SQL is a plus

Structured problem solver with strong stakeholder management skills

High ownership, bias for action, and comfort in unstructured environments

Ability to influence multiple teams without direct authority

Willingness to travel occasionally for reviews and implementation
