Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of FP&A, business analytics, or data modeling experience.
• Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and SQL.

• Understanding of P&L, cash flow, and KPIs.

Job Description-

We are looking for a data oriented, fast-paced and analytical person for FP&A team who enjoys working at the intersection of financial planning, business performance, and data analytics.

This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable with financial modeling and SQL queries, can move quickly in a dynamic environment, and loves solving business challenges using numbers, dashboards, and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking in collaboration with business leaders.
• Conduct monthly financial analysis, identifying trends, deviations vs AOP/forecast/prior periods, and deliver actionable insights.
• Prepare and present MIS decks, rolling forecasts, business reviews, and performance commentary for senior leadership.
• Build, maintain, and optimize data models, SQL pipelines, automated dashboards, and reporting frameworks for business and financial insights.
• Create insightful visualizations using Quicksight / Power BI / Tableau to support data-driven decisions.
• Perform marketing analytics, including funnel analysis, campaign performance tracking, ROI evaluation, and KPI monitoring.
• Conduct operations analytics to improve efficiency, performance, and process outcomes.
• Gather and analyze data from multiple internal/external sources; test hypotheses and provide structured recommendations.
• Define business problems using data, develop scalable processes, drive implementation, and track impact against key metrics.
• Build Excel/Google Sheets-based forecast models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support decisionmaking.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and hygiene across systems and databases.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual reporting and improve analytical depth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data, Tech, Business, Audit, Marketing, and Ops) to ensure smooth reporting and timely insights.
• Support internal and statutory audit requirements with accurate financial information.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Operations Analytics, or Data/Financial Modeling.
• Strong proficiency in: Advanced Excel / Google Sheets, SQL (must have), BI tools – Quicksight / Power BI / Tableau, SAS / R / Python and Database Management - hands on experience
• Strong understanding of P&L, cash flow, financial metrics, funnels, and business KPIs.
• Exposure to business functions such as marketing, operations, revenue, and product/website analytics.
• Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with comfort presenting to leadership.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
