Job summary

HCLSoftware in Bengaluru is seeking a driven, technically grounded Business Orchestration & Automation SME to bridge business and technology teams, translating challenges into scalable automation solutions using BPM, RPA, and integration platforms.

You will design, implement, and optimize end-to-end workflows, model as-is and to-be processes with BPMN 2.0/DMN, perform process mining, and deliver measurable efficiency while upholding security and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in AI orchestration, enterprise automation, or workflow design.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Process Analysis & Design.
• Conduct process discovery workshops with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
• Model current-state and future-state workflows using BPMN 2.0 and DMN notation.
• Perform process mining and value stream analysis to quantify improvement potential.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a driven and technically grounded Business Orchestration & Automation SME to join our team. In this mid-level role, you will serve as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams — translating operational challenges into scalable automation solutions. You will design, implement, and optimize end-to-end process workflows using modern BPM, RPA, and integration platforms to drive measurable efficiency and business value.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

• - 6+ years of experience in AI orchestration, enterprise automation, or workflow design.
• - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• - Process Analysis & Design
• - Conduct process discovery workshops with business stakeholders to identify automation and orchestration opportunities
• - Model current-state and future-state workflows using BPMN 2.0 and DMN notation
• - Perform process mining and value stream analysis to quantify improvement potential (time, cost, error rate)
• - Author detailed process design documents, business requirements, and functional specifications
• - Automation & Orchestration Development
• - Design, build, test, and deploy automated workflows using at least one RPA tool.
• - Hands-on Experience with a BPM/orchestration platform
• - BPMN 2.0 process modeling — able to model and review complex workflows independently
• - Implement event-driven and human-in-the-loop workflow patterns to handle exceptions and escalations

• - Act as SME and trusted advisor to business units on automation strategy and feasibility
• - Collaborate closely with IT Architecture, Data, and Security teams to ensure platform alignment
• - Mentor junior analysts and developers in automation best practices and tooling
• - Present recommendations and ROI analyses to senior stakeholders and management
