Business Head - Workshop Equipment, Diagnostics Services & End-of-Line Services
Job Summary
Lead and grow the business for workshop equipment, automotive diagnostic solutions, and end-of-line service offerings across the 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler automotive industry. The role requires a strong techno-commercial leader with deep technical expertise and proven business leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth, profitability and market expansion.
- Lead sales, business development, service and operations teams.
- Develop strategic relationships with OEMs, dealerships and channel partners.
- Oversee workshop equipment, diagnostics and end-of-line solution portfolios.
- Monitor industry trends and new automotive technologies.
Technical Experience Requirements
- Strong technical understanding of automotive workshop equipment, diagnostic systems, testing equipment and end-of-line solutions.
- Hands-on experience with automotive service equipment used in 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler OEMs and service networks.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, ECU communication protocols, calibration systems, emission testing equipment, wheel alignment and balancing systems.
- Ability to engage with plant engineers, service heads and OEM technical teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Understanding of Industry 4.0, connected diagnostics and workshop digitalization.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline. MBA preferred.
- 20+ years of automotive industry experience with exposure to workshop equipment, diagnostics, testing systems or end-of-line services.
- Proven leadership experience with P&L responsibility.
- Strong technical credibility combined with commercial acumen.
