Venus HR consultancy Limited is seeking a Business Head / CEO NBFC to spearhead the launch of a new NBFC in Surat, Gujarat. The role demands entrepreneurial leadership to build lending products, underwriting standards, and a scalable distribution network.

The successful candidate will own complete P&L, regulatory compliance, and risk management while assembling a high-performing team to drive AUM growth and market expansion.

Qualifications

• Ideally 15-25 years of experience in NBFC / Banking / Lending / Financial Services with significant senior leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the launch and scale-up of a new medium-scale NBFC headquartered in Surat, Gujarat.
• Own end-to-end P&L, governance, and regulatory framework for the NBFC.
• Develop lending products and underwriting, risk framework, and portfolio management.
• Build and lead a high-performing lending team and establish a strong bank/ FI relationships.

We are looking for an accomplished and entrepreneurial Business Head / CEO NBFC to lead the launch and scale-up of a new medium-scale NBFC headquartered in Surat, Gujarat.

This is a zero-to-one leadership opportunity for a senior NBFC / Banking professional who has the capability to build a lending business from the ground up.

The selected leader will have end-to-end responsibility for:

• NBFC business strategy & launch
• Lending product development
• MSME / SME / Business Loans / LAP / Secured Lending
• Credit underwriting & risk framework
• Sales & distribution network
• Collections & portfolio quality
• Fund raising & banking relationships
• Regulatory & governance framework
• LOS / LMS / lending technology implementation
• Leadership team building
• AUM growth & market expansion
• Complete P&L ownership

Who Are We Looking For

Ideally 1525 years of experience in NBFC / Banking / Lending / Financial Services with significant senior leadership exposure.

Strong preference will be given to candidates who have previously:

• Launched or built an NBFC / lending business
• Established a new lending vertical
• Scaled a significant lending portfolio / AUM
• Managed complete business P&L
• Built strong relationships with Banks / Financial Institutions
• Managed credit, risk, collections and portfolio quality
• Built and led high-performing lending teams
