Job summary

Lenskart is seeking a dynamic Business Development professional to identify and secure commercial retail properties for new stores in their region. The role involves coordinating with developers, landlords, brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely store launches.

The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to analyze location catchments and growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development/property acquisition is preferred.
• Property scouting and scouting for locations is a key part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Identify suitable commercial retail properties for opening Lenskart stores in their region.
• Manage property search and coordinate with property developers, landlords, project consultants and brokers.
• Perform location & catchment analysis for new store locations and negotiate, acquire and finalize new properties.
• Negotiate final rentals and landlord scope of works as part of the deal.
• Liaise with legal due diligence and paperwork involved in signing and acquiring.
• Coordinate with internal departments until store launch.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of growth opportunities, including organic growth and acquisitions.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for identifying suitable commercial retail properties for opening new Lenskart stores
• in their respective region.
• Retail property search management, coordinating with key partners like property developers,
• landlords, project consultants, property brokers.
• Location & Catchment Analysis of New Store Locations & Negotiating, acquiring and finalizing
• new properties. Negotiating final rentals, Landlord Scope of Works etc.
• Liaising legal due diligence and paperwork involved in signing & acquiring.
• Coordination with various department internally till store launch.

Preferred candidate profile

• Ideal candidate can have 1 - 20 years experience in Business Development property acquisition,

Property scouting / Properties scouting.
