Job summary

Equitas Small Finance Bank is seeking a Business Development Officer - UCV in Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on building a robust pipeline for new commercial vehicle finance through direct sourcing, dealers, and references, while maintaining timely customer interactions and document collection.

You will also drive cross-sell opportunities (savings and current accounts, term deposits, FASTag where applicable) and ensure 100% policy and RBI compliance in all processes.

Qualifications

• UG degree required.
• 1-4 years experience in sales or banking is preferred.
• Permanent role with full-time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Develop consistent pipeline of applications from customers requiring finance for New Commercial Vehicles.
• Manage relationships with customers by responding to requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all loan documentation is obtained timely to support First Time Right processing.
• Generate and pass on leads for cross-sell products like Savings/Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag.
• Ensure 100% compliance to RBI and other regulatory requirements.

• Develop consistent pipeline of applications from good quality customers who require finance for purchase of New Commercial Vehicles through direct sourcing, Dealers, market references etc.,
• Effectively manage relationships with all customers by responding to their requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all documentation and information related to loan proposals are obtained in a timely manner to practice ‘First Time Right’ principle.
• Actively generate & pass on leads for cross-sell products like Saving Accounts, Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag (wherever applicable)
• Ensure 100% compliance to Policies & Processes and all regulatory matters of RBI and other statutory bodies
