Role & responsibilities
Business Acquisition & Revenue Generation
- Acquire new customers for:
- Current Accounts (CA)
- Savings Accounts (SA)
- Business/SME accounts
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Generate revenue through cross‑sell and upsell of banking products
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with:
- Individual clients
- SMEs or corporate customers (depending on role)
- Act as the single point of contact for customer queries
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
Product Selling & Cross‑Selling
Sell and promote various banking products such as:
- Insurance (Life/General)
- Mutual Funds / Investment products
- Loans (Business Loans, LAP, Personal Loans)
- Credit Cards
- Forex services
Lead Generation & Market Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory
- Source leads through:
- Field visits
- Referrals
- Networking and events
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients
Sales Planning & Strategy
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets
- Plan daily/weekly client visits
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and conversion ratio
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure proper KYC documentation and account opening compliance
- Follow banking regulations and internal policies strictly
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding
Portfolio Management
- Manage an existing portfolio of customers
- Monitor account activity and ensure business growth
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships
Reporting & MIS
- Track and report:
- Daily sales activities
- Targets vs achievements
- Update CRM systems regularly
Field Work / Territory Management
- Majority role involves field sales
- Meet clients at offices, shops, or business locations
- Cover assigned geographic territory effectively
