About the RoleZANCK is looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our Sales & Operations team.This role is designed for professionals with 2–4 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, enterprise sales, client acquisition, account development, or a related role who are ready to take independent ownership of business development activities and contribute directly to ZANCK's growth.As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying target accounts, developing prospects, initiating and managing client conversations, qualifying business opportunities, conducting discovery discussions, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, and supporting opportunities through the sales cycle.You will be expected to convert prospecting activity into qualified opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Account ProspectingIdentify and develop prospective B2B accounts across ZANCK's target industries.Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified target accounts.Research organizations, decision-makers, business leaders, technology stakeholders, and relevant buying teams.Develop account lists based on ZANCK's Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).Identify companies experiencing business growth, operational challenges, digital transformation, modernization, automation, or technology requirements.Conduct account-level research before initiating outreach.Identify business triggers and potential entry points within target organizations.Develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, partnerships, events, LinkedIn, email, phone, and other professional channels.Continuously expand the addressable account base.Prioritize prospects based on business relevance, opportunity potential, and likelihood of engagement.Develop a systematic approach to account penetration and opportunity creation.Sales Outreach & Client EngagementIndependently conduct professional outbound sales activities.Initiate conversations with business owners, CXOs, department heads, technology leaders, and other relevant decision-makers.Present ZANCK and its capabilities in a clear, credible, and business-focused manner.Tailor communication based on the prospect's industry, business model, challenges, and objectives.Conduct structured discovery conversations with prospects.Understand business problems, operational gaps, growth objectives, technology requirements, and decision-making processes.Ask relevant questions to uncover the underlying business need.Qualify opportunities based on need, fit, authority, urgency, budget potential, timing, and strategic relevance.Build professional relationships with prospects throughout the sales cycle.Maintain consistent and meaningful follow-ups.Handle common objections and concerns professionally.Identify when an opportunity requires deeper technical or leadership involvement.Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings, solution discussions, presentations, and demonstrations.Participate actively in client meetings and business discussions.Build trust and credibility through professional communication and business understanding.Consultative Selling & Opportunity DevelopmentApproach sales through a problem-first and outcome-oriented methodology.Understand the business context behind a technology requirement.Translate client challenges into relevant areas of ZANCK's capabilities.Collaborate with internal teams to develop appropriate approaches for qualified opportunities.Gather and document client requirements accurately.Identify potential opportunities across multiple ZANCK service areas where relevant.Support solution discussions without overpromising technical capabilities.Develop opportunities from initial interest toward qualified business engagement.Maintain clear understanding of opportunity value, decision-makers, timelines, requirements, and next steps.Identify opportunities for long-term engagements rather than one-time transactions.Support account expansion and cross-service opportunities where appropriate.Sales Pipeline & CRM ManagementOwn and maintain an assigned sales pipeline.Keep CRM records accurate, complete, and up to date.Track prospect interactions, meetings, requirements, follow-ups, opportunity stages, and next actions.Ensure every active opportunity has a clear next step.Monitor pipeline movement and identify stalled opportunities.Maintain accurate opportunity values, expected timelines, probability, and status.Prepare regular pipeline and business development reports.Track key sales KPIs and activity metrics.Analyze pipeline performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Maintain organized account, contact, communication, proposal, and opportunity records.Ensure sales activities follow ZANCK's defined processes and operating standards.Proposal & Business Development SupportSupport the preparation of business proposals, quotations, presentations, company profiles, capability documents, and other sales materials.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect information required for proposals.Understand the commercial context of an opportunity before proposal development.Follow up on submitted proposals and quotations.Coordinate client questions and internal responses.Assist in preparing business cases and opportunity summaries.Support negotiations and commercial discussions under appropriate leadership guidance.Track proposal status and ensure timely follow-up.Help convert qualified opportunities into active engagements.Account Development & Relationship ManagementBuild relationships with prospects beyond individual sales conversations.Maintain regular communication with strategic prospects and accounts.Understand changes in client businesses that may create new opportunities.Identify additional business requirements within existing relationships.Support account expansion and repeat business opportunities.Maintain professional relationships with multiple stakeholders within target organizations.Develop long-term account engagement strategies for high-potential prospects.Capture relevant client intelligence and relationship information in the CRM.Coordinate internally to ensure continuity across client interactions.Market & Competitive IntelligenceResearch industries, market segments, competitors, technology trends, and business developments.Identify emerging market opportunities relevant to ZANCK.Monitor companies undergoing expansion, modernization, transformation, restructuring, or technology adoption.Study competitor positioning and service offerings.Identify gaps in the market that ZANCK can address.Develop account and market intelligence for priority segments.Provide actionable insights to the Sales & Operations team.Support market-entry and account-development initiatives.Continuously improve understanding of ZANCK's target industries and buyer personas.Sales Operations & Internal CoordinationCoordinate with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Technology, and leadership teams to progress opportunities.Ensure internal actions related to active opportunities are tracked and completed.Maintain structured documentation throughout the sales process.Support business development campaigns and strategic growth initiatives.Assist with networking events, industry engagements, partnerships, and business meetings.Identify inefficiencies in the sales process and recommend improvements.Contribute to improving
