Job summary

Notion Press, based in Chennai, is seeking a proactive Sales/Consulting Executive to engage with aspiring authors who have registered on the Notion Press platform, understand their publishing goals, and tailor publishing solutions. You will build trust, guide authors through the publishing process, and aim to consistently achieve sales targets while delivering a high-quality author experience.

No prior publishing experience is required, and you’ll be supported by a dynamic team at the

• 0-3 years of experience in sales or consulting.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of your results.
• Willingness to work towards targets and incentives.

At Notion Press, you’ll work at the intersection of technology, publishing, and creativity, helping authors turn their ideas into books that inspire readers everywhere.

What You'll Do

• Speak with aspiring authors who have registered on the Notion Press platform
• Understand their book ideas, goals, and publishing needs
• Recommend the right publishing solutions for them
• Guide authors through the publishing process
• Build trust and long-term relationships with authors
• Achieve sales targets consistently while maintaining a high-quality author experience

NOTE: You DO NOT need publishing experience or prior sales experience to apply for this role.

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

• Have 0-3 years of experience in sales / consulting
• Are comfortable speaking with people over phone and email
• Have good spoken and written English
• Are confident, curious, and enjoy solving problems
• Are motivated by targets, incentives, and career growth
• Can work independently and take ownership of your results
