Notion Press is India’s largest book publishing platform, supporting authors to publish and reach readers worldwide. We seek a highly organized Publishing Management professional to assist our authors in delivering books seamlessly and on schedule.

You will coordinate with authors and internal teams, maintain detailed project plans, and ensure deliverables meet industry standards while providing daily status updates to the Team Manager.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of customer-facing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Super organized with strong multitasking.
• Willingness to talk to new people.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Good typing skills.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and/or Tamil.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan.
• Manage project deliverables in line with the plan.
• Record and manage project issues; escalate when necessary.
• Resolve cross-functional issues at the project level.
• Manage project scope and change control; escalate issues.
• Monitor project progress and performance.
• Provide status reports to the Team Manager.
• Liaise with authors and internal teams; update progress to Team Manager.
• Provide daily updates to authors on project status and progress.
• Ensure projects meet industry standards with authors.

Job Description

Seeking a self-driven, super organized individual to join our Publishing Management team to assist Notion Press' authors publish their books seamlessly.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

• Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan
• Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan
• Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary
• Resolving cross-functional issues at the project level
• Manage project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary
• Monitor project progress and performance
• Provide status reports to the Team Manager
• Liaise with authors, internal teams, and updates progress to, Team Manager
• Customer Service, updating author on project status and progress on a daily basis
• Work closely with authors to ensure the project meets the Industry standards
• Manage project evaluation and dissemination activities
• Is accountable for the delivery of planned deliverables associated with the project
• Providing regular status reports to the Team Manager

Requirements

• 0-2 years of customer-facing experience
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
• Super Organized and has expert multitasking skills
• Loves talking to new people
• Works well with a team and also individually
• Good Typing Skills
• Computer Skills – MS Excel and Word
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and/OR Tamil.
