Job summary

Astra Source in Kammanahalli seeks a dedicated counselling professional to guide students through overseas education opportunities, course and university selection, and visa procedures.

You will help students prepare applications, write statements, secure references, and ensure accurate documentation, while providing ongoing support and information sessions for families and learners alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree completed.
• Fluency in English with strong communication and confidence.
• Go-getter with a positive attitude and willingness to engage with students in higher education applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one counselling to students regarding overseas education opportunities and university/course selection.
• Assist students in preparing and submitting applications, including personal statements and references.
• Offer career guidance based on students' interests and goals to inform study abroad decisions.
• Conduct information sessions and webinars for students and families detailing studying abroad processes.
• Manage the entire student application process from inquiry to enrollment and assist with visa documentation and interviews.
• Stay informed about visa changes and popular study destinations to guide students effectively.
• Regularly follow up with students to monitor progress and ensure a smooth application journey, collaborating with the team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Student Counselling: Provide one-on-one counseling to students regarding overseas education opportunities, including course and university selection, application procedures, and visa requirements.
• Application Assistance: Assist students in preparing and submitting applications, including writing personal statements, securing references, and completing necessary documentation.
• Career Guidance: Offer insights into various career paths based on the students academic interests and professional goals, helping them make informed decisions about their education abroad.
• Information Sessions: Conduct information sessions and webinars for students and their families, addressing concerns and providing detailed explanations about studying abroad.
• Process Management: Manage the entire student application process, from initial inquiry to final enrollment, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for students. Visa Assistance: Guide students through the visa application process, including documentation, interview preparation, and follow-ups.
• Market Research: Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in overseas education, including changes in visa regulations, admission criteria, and popular study destinations.
• Follow-Up: Regularly follow up with students to monitor their progress, address concerns, and provide ongoing support throughout their application journey. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure a coordinated approach to counseling and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree (Completed)
