Job summary

The BFSI Sector Skill Council of India in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, invites applications for the role of Business Development Executive. You will join the Product & Projects team to design, develop, and monitor skill development initiatives in collaboration with government bodies, corporates, and training partners.

You will manage end-to-end projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery, with responsibilities spanning product development, project execution, and partner engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 1–5 years of experience in project management, product development, CSR projects, education, skilling, consulting, or the BFSI sector.
• Freshers with exceptional communication and project coordination skills may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Product Development: Design and develop new training products, certification programs, and learning solutions for the BFSI sector.
• Project Management & Execution: Plan, execute, and monitor projects from inception to closure; prepare plans, timelines, budgets, and implementation schedules; identify risks and mitigate.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, corporates, educational institutions, NGOs, and government departments.
• Coordination & Operations: Coordinate with trainers, assessment agencies, implementation partners, and vendors; travel for project work.

Reports To: Head – Product & Special Projects

About the Role

The Product & Projects team is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and monitoring skill development, financial literacy, employability, certification, and special projects in collaboration with government bodies, corporates, academic institutions, training partners, and industry stakeholders. The role involves end-to-end project execution, stakeholder management, product development, documentation, reporting, and ensuring timely delivery of initiatives aligned with the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Product Development Design and develop new training products, certification programs, and learning solutions for the BFSI sector.
• 2. Project Management & Execution

  Plan, execute, and monitor projects from inception to closure.

  Prepare project plans, timelines, budgets, and implementation schedules.

  Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• 3. Stakeholder Management

  Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, corporates, educational institutions, NGOs, and government departments.

  Conduct meetings, presentations, workshops, and review sessions.

  Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

• 4. Coordination & Operations

  Coordinate with trainers, assessment agencies, implementation partners, and vendors.

  Travel as required for project implementation and stakeholder engagement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
