Tailored resume and cover letter, ready to send.
Jane Aerospace, a Bengaluru-based supplier of aircraft parts and drone components, seeks a highly driven BDA to handle two selling motions: fast, transactional cash sales and a subscription SCaaS model. You will qualify leads, demos, negotiate, and close, while also managing client procurement end-to-end for up to six months of subscription.
This role blends outbound calling with consultative selling and requires daily CRM logging.
You must be free of notice period obligations by 1 December. If you are currently serving a 60 or 90-day notice, the timing will not work and we cannot make an exception.
Please read this advertisement all the way to the end before you apply. It is long on purpose. It tells you exactly what the job is, what it is not, how we assess you and what we will not budge on.
Jane Aerospace is a Bengaluru-based aerospace and drone supply chain company. We source aircraft parts, drone components and industrial materials for operators, MROs and manufacturers — both imported and locally procured — and we are building Supply Chain as a Service (SCaaS), a subscription model that takes over procurement for our clients entirely.
We operate across three entities: Jane Aerospace Pvt Ltd (India), Jane Tech Labs Ltd (Hong Kong) and Jane Aero Tech Supply Chain FZCO (UAE). You would sell for all three.
We are bootstrapped. We have taken no outside funding and we are not trying to. That has one consequence worth understanding: the money this role generates is the money that runs the company. There is no investor runway behind it. It is also why our incentive plan is as aggressive as it is — when you earn, we earn, and we would rather pay out than hold back.
This is one job with two completely different selling motions, run by the same person in the same week. You need to be good at both.
ENGINE 1 — CASH. Parts and materials sold to buyers with an urgent, immediate need, at a markup. Fast and transactional: find the need, source it, quote it, close it. Days, not weeks. Worked in the afternoons. Measured on earnings — our margin — every week. What good looks like: Rs 5 lakh of earnings per week.
ENGINE 2 — SUBSCRIPTION. SCaaS, where we run a client’s entire procurement function for a monthly fee. Consultative: qualify, demo, build the business case, negotiate, sign. Weeks, not days. Worked in the morning calling block. Measured on qualified meetings booked. What good looks like: a full calendar and a steady flow of demos you run yourself.
Most people are naturally better at one of these than the other, and that is fine. But if doing both sounds exhausting rather than interesting, this is the wrong role for you.
Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000 per month CTC (Rs 4.8–5.4 lakh per annum), depending on experience. CTC means cost to company — your in-hand figure will be lower after statutory deductions, and we will show you the exact breakdown at offer stage.
uncapped, and it is where the real money is. We would rather tell you exactly how it works now than have you discover it in month two.
On the cash engine, you earn nothing variable until you generate Rs 10 lakh of earnings in a month. Above that floor, commission rises:
On the subscription engine, every client you sign pays you 15% of their first month’s subscription fee when they make their first payment, and another 15% of that same fee at month six if they are still with us. It repeats every time they renew.
·A weak month, below the floor: Rs 45,000
·On target, Rs 21L earnings: approximately Rs 1,00,000
·A strong month, Rs 25L earnings: approximately Rs 1,40,000
·An exceptional month, Rs 30L earnings: approximately Rs 2,15,000
A BDA who consistently hits target is looking at roughly Rs 12 lakh a year. A BDA who does not clear the floor earns Rs 5.4 lakh. That spread is the job.
If that prospect excites you, read on. If it worries you, we would genuinely rather you applied somewhere with a higher fixed salary — no hard feelings, and you will be happier.
Also included: PF and ESI as per statute, and a compensation review at six and twelve months.
(We hire on evidence and performance, and we welcome applications from every background.)
