Job summary

WebMD in Navi Mumbai is seeking a data professional with 3+ years of experience to drive data quality and analytics. You will work the 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST shift and collaborate with BI, Finance, and Marketing teams to define data requirements and automate quality checks.

The role requires strong SQL, ETL skills, and familiarity with AI tools such as Google Gemini and Claude. Python is a plus and ownership mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data/analytics roles.
• Hands-on SQL expertise with large datasets.
• Experience with AI tools including Google Gemini and Claude.
• Proactive in exploring AI applications to business use cases.
• Experience with ETL and data integration.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Vertica, BigQuery, DorisDB.
• Familiarity with web analytics or BI tools.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and define requirements for multiple data quality projects
• Document complex data flows across the organization using AI
• Analyze business requirements and design scenarios required for the team's automation efforts
• Collaborate closely with non-IT teams (e.g., Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, Sales) to accurately capture and understand data quality requirements
• Build an enterprise-level data quality validation inventory covering various data sources
• Connect and integrate complex datasets to enable deeper analysis and robust data validation
• Translate complex SQL queries and concepts into terms easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences

Education: B.E. Computer Science/IT degree (or any other engineering discipline)

Experience: 3+ years

Work timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST

Position Requirements

Experience with AI tools, including using Google Gemini, developing GEMS and agents, prompt engineering, Claude, and a proactive willingness to explore AI applications for daily business use cases and improving team productivity

• 4+ years of hands-on experience working with database technologies (PostgreSQL, Vertica, GBQ, DorisDB, Vertica)
• Exceptional documentation, system diagramming (e.g., MIRO/Visio), and communication skills
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Pentaho and Informatica
• Experience with Web analytics or Business Intelligence tools
• Knowledge of Python is an added advantage
• Understanding of one or more marketing/analytics platforms: Omniture, Exact Target, Google Analytics, DFP, or Salesforce
• Self-motivated individual with a willingness to learn new technologies and business processes, and the initiative to take ownership beyond basic responsibilities
