Job summary

EXL in Gurugram is seeking a Business Data Analyst to bridge business and technical teams, analyzing data, mapping sources, and designing transformations for large-scale data applications, with emphasis on data quality and governance.

The role requires 3-6 years of experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with Snowflake and insurance processes (P&C). You will collaborate with client SMEs, create BRDs, and contribute to data lineage and master data standardization.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in large-scale Data applications focusing on Data Analysis, Mapping and Transformations.
• Experience in Snowflake and relational DB; BRD creation and requirements gathering.
• Strong verbal and written communication and tracking skills.
• Proficient in SQL; able to perform Source-to-Target mappings (STTM).
• Exposure to data consolidation, transformation, and standardization.
• Insurance (Property and Casualty Insurance - P&C) domain experience with policies and claims lifecycle.
• Able to integrate quickly with the team and work independently toward team goals.

Must-Have

• Experience in Snowflake, Any relational DB , BRD creation, requirements gathering
• Very good Verbal & Written communication & tracking skills
• SQL, business requirement gatherings, Source-to-target mappings (STTM) writing
• Should have exposure to data consolidation, transformation, and standardization
• Experience withInsurance (Property and Casualty Insurance - P&C) Domain clients. Policy & Claims lifecycle and reinsurance business is a must.
