Job summary

EXL in Gurugram is seeking a Business Data Analyst with 3-6 years of experience to analyze large-scale data applications, map data flows, and implement transformations. The role requires Snowflake, SQL, BRD creation, and knowledge of Insurance data.

You will liaise between technical and business teams, perform data profiling, and document data lineage and STTM to support data governance and cross-system standardization.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in large-scale data applications involving data analysis, mapping and transformations.
• Experience in Snowflake, relational DBs, BRD creation and requirements gathering.
• Strong verbal and written communication and tracking skills.
• Proficient in SQL, requirement gathering, and source-to-target mapping (STTM).
• Exposure to data consolidation, transformation, and standardization.
• Experience with Insurance (Property and Casualty Insurance - P&C) Domain clients, policy & claims lifecycle and reinsurance.
• Ability to integrate quickly and work independently.

Must-Have

• Experience in Snowflake, Any relational DB , BRD creation, requirements gathering


• Very good Verbal & Written communication & tracking skills


• SQL, business requirement gatherings, Source-to-target mappings (STTM) writing


• Should have exposure to data consolidation, transformation, and standardization


• Experience withInsurance (Property and Casualty Insurance - P&C) Domain clients. Policy & Claims lifecycle and reinsurance business is a must.
