Job summary

EXL is seeking a Business Data Analyst in Gurugram with 3-6 years of experience in data analysis, mapping and transformations. You will work with Snowflake and relational databases, create BRDs, and gather requirements, including STTM writing and data standardization.

Ideal candidates have insurance domain exposure (P&C), strong communication, and the ability to integrate quickly with the team and work independently to meet goals.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of work experience in large-scale Data applications doing Data Analysis, Data Mapping, and Data Transformations.
• Experience in Snowflake, Any relational DB, BRD creation, requirements gathering
• SQL, business requirement gatherings, Source-to-target mappings (STTM) writing
• Should have exposure to data consolidation, transformation, and standardization
• Experience with Insurance (Property and Casualty Insurance - P&C) Domain clients. Policy & Claims lifecycle and reinsurance business is a must.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the technical and business teams.
• Connect with Client SME & understand Functionality, Data
• Do Data Profiling to understand data quality and standardize reference and master data across systems
• Work on Data mapping, data lineage docs, data models, and design docs for stakeholders to understand mappings and transformations
