Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Business Analyst - Supply Chain to transform complex supply chain data into actionable insights from the Oragadam, India location. You will collaborate across functions to deliver scalable reporting, improve data quality, and enable data-driven decisions.

The role focuses on creating dashboards and reports, optimizing data models, and driving continuous improvement through analytics and automation, while partnering with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field with 6+ years of analytics or BI experience.
• Strong expertise in Power BI dashboard development, reporting, and data modeling.
• Experience with SAP, SQL, and supply chain processes; knowledge of data integration and cloud analytics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions, translating business requirements into actionable insights and technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and reporting frameworks to support business decision‑making.
• Analyze supply chain performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that improve planning, procurement, inventory, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity while delivering recurring and ad hoc reports that drive informed business decisions.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging analytics and emerging technologies to enhance reporting capabilities and business processes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field, with 6+ years of relevant experience in business analytics or business intelligence.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including dashboard development, reporting, and data modeling.
• Experience working with SAP and supply chain business processes, along with knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Familiarity with data integration, cloud-based data solutions, and modern analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive mindset and passion for continuous learning.
