Job summary

VMC Soft Technologies, Inc is seeking an experienced SAP SD Business Analyst to drive requirements for Sales & Distribution processes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, regulatory teams, product and development squads to document requirements, create user stories, and ensure alignment with FDA/regulatory expectations.

You will manage requirements across Jira/Confluence, review UX/UI in Figma, and support end-to-end traceability through the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and product requirements.

• Create and maintain process flow diagrams representing business processes and system workflows.
• Collaborate with development and solution teams to reflect requirements in designs and implementations.
• Coordinate with users and stakeholders for clarification, validation, and sign-off.
• Research FDA regulations with guidance from SMEs.
• Participate in meetings on software safety classification and product risk assessment.
• Track requirements, identify gaps, and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide status updates to Manager/Lead regularly.
• Support traceability through the software development lifecycle.
• Review UX/UI designs in Figma and give feedback.

Job Description SAP Business Analyst Sales & Distribution (SD) Role: Business Analyst SAP SD

Experience: 8 10 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) knowledge to work closely with business stakeholders, regulatory teams, product teams, development teams, and solution teams. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, creating user stories and SRS documents, managing requirements in Jira/Confluence, and ensuring that the delivered solution aligns with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and product requirements.
• Create and maintain user stories, use cases, research tasks, development/code tasks, SRS, and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into clear and actionable requirements for development teams.
• Manage requirements, stories, and documentation using Jira and Confluence.
• Create and maintain process flow diagrams to represent business processes and system workflows.
• Create releases in Jira and appropriately tag stories against each release.
• Collaborate closely with development and solution teams to ensure that application designs and delivered solutions adequately reflect business requirements.
• Coordinate with business users and stakeholders for requirement clarification, validation, and sign-off.
• Work with regulatory teams to conduct research on applicable FDA regulations, with guidance from subject matter experts.
• Participate in meetings related to software safety classification, product risk assessment, and technical risk assessment of software products.
• Track requirements, identify gaps or issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to the Manager/Lead.
• Prepare and provide regular/weekly status updates to the Manager/Lead.
• Support requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Review UX/UI designs in Figma and provide relevant feedback/comments to UX designers where required.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including business, product, regulatory, UX, development, and solution teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple requirements, and proactively communicate risks and issues.
