Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Business Analyst for Pharma/Life Sciences to bridge business stakeholders and SAP delivery teams in Bangalore. You will translate regulated processes into clear requirements and guide large SAP and digital programs to deliver compliant, buildable solutions.

The candidate should have 6–10 years of BA experience, hands-on SAP ECC/S4HANA knowledge (MM, QM, SD, EWM), and a strong grasp of regulated environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part11).

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a Business Analyst, with Pharma/Life Sciences domain experience
• Strong requirements engineering skills — write specs a developer can build from without re-interviewing the business
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation across senior stakeholders
• Familiar with regulated-environment concepts: GxP, GMP, 21 CFR Part11, data integrity (ALCOA+)
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery models
• Proficiency with JIRA / Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio or Signavio, and Excel-based analysis

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements through workshops, stakeholder interviews and process walkthroughs with Pharma users
• Produce BRDs, functional specs, user stories with acceptance criteria, process flows, traceability matrices, and data maps
• Perform fit-gap analysis against SAP functionality and recommend standard-first solutions
• Partner with consultants to shape solution design and review build against requirements
• Drive UAT — define test scenarios, coordinate testers, triage defects and sign-off
• Support validation and compliance deliverables under GxP / regulated scope
• Manage scope and change; assess impact on cost, timeline and risk and support CAB/governance
• Support data migration and cutover from requirements to business-readiness
• Contribute to training material, SOP updates and hypercare post-go-live

You will sit betweenbusiness stakeholders and delivery teams on large SAP and digitalprograms — translating regulated, process-heavy business needs intoclear, buildable requirements, and making sure what ships actuallysolves the problem.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and documentbusiness requirements through workshops, stakeholder interviews andprocess walkthroughs with Pharma business users (Manufacturing,Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Commercial).
• Producehigh-quality artefacts: BRDs, functional specifications, userstories with acceptance criteria, process flows (As-Is / To-Be),traceability matrices and data mapping documents.
• Performfit-gap analysis against standard SAP functionality and recommendstandard-first solutions, flagging genuine gaps for custom build.
• Partnerwith functional and technical consultants to shape solution design,and review build against agreed requirements.
• DriveUAT — define test scenarios, coordinate business testers, triagedefects, and manage sign-off.
• Supportvalidation and compliance deliverables where the solution fallsunder GxP / regulated scope (URS, traceability, change controldocumentation).
• Managescope and change: assess change requests for impact on cost,timeline and risk, and support the CAB / governance process.
• Supportdata migration and cutover activities from a requirements andbusiness-readiness perspective.
• Contributeto training material, SOP updates and hypercare support postgo-live.

Domain Experience Required

• Manufacturing & BatchManagement (batch genealogy, yield, shop-floor integration)
• QualityManagement (inspection plans, deviations, CAPA, batch release)
• SupplyChain & Serialisation (track & trace, DSCSA / EU FMD, coldchain, lot traceability)
• Commercial/ Distribution (chargebacks, rebates, contracts, tender pricing)

Must-Have Skills

• 6+ years as a Business Analyst,with at least 3 years on Pharma or Life Sciences programs.
• Hands-onexperience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA in relevant modules (MM,PP-PI, QM, SD, EWM).
• Strongrequirements engineering skills — able to write specs a developercan build from without re-interviewing the business.
• Workingknowledge of regulated-environment concepts: GxP, GMP, 21 CFR Part11, data integrity (ALCOA+), computer system validation.
• Comfortablein both Agile (user stories, backlog grooming, sprint ceremonies)and Waterfall delivery models.
• Proficiencywith JIRA / Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio or Signavio, andExcel-based analysis.
• Excellentwritten and verbal communication; confident facilitating workshopswith senior client stakeholders.

Good to Have

• Exposure to SAP BTP, Fiori/UI5,or integration platforms (CPI/Integration Suite).
• Experiencewith validation-lifecycle tooling or CSV documentation in a clientaudit context.
• Familiaritywith LIMS, MES, or serialisation platforms and their SAPtouchpoints.
• Priorconsulting or system-integrator background with client-facingdelivery exposure.
