Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a Business Data Analyst for Gurgaon to join a data-driven environment. You will analyze, map, and transform large datasets, ensuring quality and standardization across reference and master data.

You will engage with client SMEs to understand requirements and translate them into concrete data models and lineage artifacts. The role emphasizes collaboration between business and technical teams, with emphasis on STTM writing and data profiling in insurance

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of work experience in large-scale Data applications.
• Experience with Snowflake, relational DBs and BRD creation.
• Strong data profiling, data quality and reference/master data standardization.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between technical and business teams.
• Understand functionality, data concepts, and client SME requirements.
• Perform data profiling and document data quality and standards.

Role: Business Data Analyst

Location – Gurgaon

Exp : 3 - 6 years

Must-Have:

• 3-6 years of work experience in large-scale Data applications doingData Analysis, Data Mapping, and Data Transformations.
• Experience in Snowflake, Any relational DB, BRD creation, requirements gathering
• Very good Verbal & Written communication & tracking skills
• SQL, business requirement gatherings,Source-to-target mappings (STTM) writing
• Should have exposure to data consolidation, transformation, and standardization
• Experience withInsurance (Property and Casualty Insurance - P&C) Domain clients. Policy & Claims lifecycle and reinsurance business is a must.
• Must be able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently towards team goals

Good to Have-

• Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0, Data Modeling

Role & Responsibilities:

• Act as liaison between the technical and business teams.
