Job summary

Capco, a global technology and management consulting firm, seeks a Business Analyst in India to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from multiple departments. You will translate needs into functional specifications for the development team and create BRDs, process diagrams, and use cases to guide delivery.

Collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams, you will facilitate workshops, define acceptance criteria, and participate in UAT to ensure solutions meet business needs

Qualifications

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications for the development team.
• Create and maintain documentation including BRDs, functional specs, use cases, and user stories.
• Develop process flow diagrams, data models, and system interface specifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between business units, technical teams, and project management.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to gather requirements.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and project sponsors.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with technical architects and developers to design optimal solutions.
• Evaluate proposed solutions against business requirements and organizational constraints.
• Participate in system design reviews and provide business perspective.
• Define acceptance criteria and validation approaches for deliverables.
• Develop test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements.
• Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Document and track defects through resolution.
