Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Business Analyst for Payment Clearing Systems in Pune. The role focuses on designing payment flows, ensuring ISO 20022 compliance, and mapping API messages across global rails for an enterprise platform.

You will work on clearing cycles, cut-off times, and messaging standards for ACH, wire, real-time payments, and SWIFT. Strong analytical skills and experience with JIRA, Confluence, and data analysis are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience designing payment flows and ISO 20022 compliance.
• Experience with clearing rails and messaging standards (ACH, SWIFT, SEPA).
• Familiarity with API mappings and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Translate business goals into functional specs and user stories for payment processing engines.
• Global Rail Integration: Configure rules for domestic and cross-border rails, including ACH, Fedwire, CHIPS, SEPA (Credit Transfer/Instant), and SWIFT (MT and MX/ISO 20022).
• Clearing and Settlement: Design end-to-end clearing workflows, exception handling, returns, rejections, and liquidity management.
• Data Mapping: Build data-mapping documents for legacy formats and ISO 20022 XML standards.
