Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and SQL; PySpark is a plus.
• Strong predictive analytics skills: forecasting, time series, clustering, regression, A/B tests, model assembly.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView, Tableau.
• Retail experience and cloud familiarity (Azure).
• Clear communication and ability to present data insights effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to deliver business impact.

Who are we looking for ?

• Bachelors or masters degree in any quantitative discipline. Candidates from Economics, Statistics, Operations Research or Mathematics background from reputable institutions will be preferred.
• Experience of working in areas of retail like Inventory Management, Location/Space optimization, Assortment Planning, pricing, shelf placements.
• Expertise in programming language such as Python, SQL is a must and Pyspark good to have.
• Expertise in predictive analytics techniques around Optimization, classification or regression, clustering, A/B testing, Time Series, demand forecasting, Tree-based algorithms and model assembling techniques.
• Expertise in visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, etc.
• Must have retail experience Experience in working in cloud platform like Azure.
• Should have basic idea of working on product application.
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in high pressure environment.
• Strong drive and passion to deliver business impact through retail Analytics.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate data insights into meaningful business recommendations.
