Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a results-driven Business Analyst/Consultant to work with banking clients on core banking initiatives. You will engage with bank staff, gather requirements, map them to TCS BaNCS capabilities, and help implement solutions in customer environments.

You will collaborate with product and delivery teams to validate functionality, create solution documents, and demonstrate differentiated approaches (e.g., AI in Core Banking).

Responsibilities

• Understand customer business requirements and map to BaNCS product capabilities
• Collaborate with Product Development to review expected functionality and enhancements
• Create solution documentation and BRD/SDD where needed
• Prepare thought leadership content and differentiated solution approaches (e.g., AI in Core Banking)
• Demonstrate BaNCS solution to customers and prospects
• Study regulatory and market evolution in Banking to translate into requirements
• Engage with multiple stakeholders including bank staff and teams to capture needs

Job description

Location: Gurgaon/Bangalore

Required Technical Skill Set

• Strong functional background and understanding of Core Banking. This is in the banking space with areas like Deposits , Loans , Trade Finance , CASA and related accounting
• Experience on a Core Banking system is a key skill needed
• Experience in Loans Operations , Trade Finance Operations will be an added advantage
• Capable to handle multiple stakeholders from business requirement collection with customers ( Bank staff / teams)
• Capability to prepare business requirements and solution specification documents
• Experience of working in a Core Banking related company either a product developer (Temenos , Finacle , FIS , Oracle FlexCube/OFSS , Finastra, Intellect Design Arena ) or Core Banking system integrator .

Role Descriptions

• Working with the Customer to understand the business requirements
• Understand the TCS BaNCS product and map the requirements to the product capabilities
• Implement TCS BaNCS solution in customer environment
• Working with the Product Development team to review & verify the expected functionality / enhancement in the product
• Create thought leadership content and create differentiated solutions (e.g. AI in Core Banking)
• Make presentations and demonstrate TCS BaNCS solution to customers and prospects
• Study Regulatory and Market standard evolution in Banking domain and translate that into business Requirements.
