Job summary

Blue Pearl Health Tech Pvt. Ltd. in Pune is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to own requirements for our next-generation healthcare platform. You will translate inputs from pathologists, lab teams, customers, and regulators into clear, engineering-ready specifications for our SaaS/LIMS product.

This role offers ownership across product, technology, regulatory, and international markets, with a focus on healthcare IT standards and seamless integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in software product teams.
• Healthcare IT, LIMS/LIS/HIS, or regulated domains.
• Excellent requirement gathering, documentation and stakeholder management.
• Ability to produce BRD/FRD, user stories, and workflows.
• Knowledge of NABL, ISO 15189, NABH, HIPAA, CAP, or CLIA.
• Exposure to HL7, FHIR, LOINC, SNOMED CT and healthcare integrations.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, document, and manage functional requirements across healthcare modules.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, business rules, and data requirements.
• Analyse laboratory workflows across pathology, radiology, microbiology, histopathology.
• Work with customers, product, engineering, QA, and implementation teams to resolve requirements.
• Maintain requirements traceability, feature catalogues, and requirement matrices.
• Capture requirements for integrations including LIS/LIMS, HIS/HMIS, EHR, APIs, and laboratory instruments.
• Analyse market-specific requirements across India, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the US.
• Translate regulatory and accreditation requirements into actionable product requirements.
• Support UAT, defect analysis, release planning, and pre-sales requirements.
• Conduct customer discovery sessions and convert business needs into product specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, document, and manage functional requirements across healthcare/LIMS modules.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, business rules, and data requirements.
• Analyse laboratory workflows across pathology, radiology, microbiology, histopathology, etc.
• Work with customers, product, engineering, QA, and implementation teams to resolve requirements and ambiguity.
• Maintain requirements traceability, feature catalogues, and requirement matrices.
• Capture requirements for integrations including LIS/LIMS, HIS/HMIS, EHR, APIs, and laboratory instruments.
• Analyse market-specific requirements across India, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the US.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably owning requirements for a software product.
• Strong experience in Healthcare IT, LIMS, LIS, HIS, diagnostics, or other regulated domains.
• Excellent requirement gathering, documentation, workflow analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to create precise BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process workflows.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations/accreditations such as NABL, ISO 15189, NABH, HIPAA, CAP, or CLIA.
• Experience working with multiple geographies/markets is preferred.
• Exposure to HL7, FHIR, LOINC, SNOMED CT, APIs, and healthcare integrations is an advantage.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar requirements management tools.
