Job summary

EbixCash Financial Technologies (ECFT) invites a functional consultant to drive changes on core products and map client requirements to product capabilities. You will present requirements via diagrams, prototypes or scenarios and liaise with technical teams to assess feasibility.

You will also prepare and review requirement analyses and functional specs, perform functional testing, and log defects. Coordinate with UAT to implement enhancements as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have handled on-site functional consulting assignments.
• Contributed to process consulting/re-engineering.
• Contributed to enhancing core product functionality and roadmap items based on domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of Software Configuration Management.

Responsibilities

• Work on changes required on core products
• Work on customer projects: map business requirements to products and identify gaps or changes
• Represent requirements using diagrams/prototypes/scenarios
• Interact with technical teams for feasibility of solution designs
• Prepare and review Requirement Analysis and Functional Specification documents
• Responsible for functional testing and creating test cases
• Detect and report bugs/defects
• Coordinate with UAT team and communicate enhancements needed

Job description

• Represent requirements using alternative views (diagrams / prototypes / scenarios).
• Interactions with technical teams for technical feasibility of solution designs
• Prepare and review the Requirement Analysis and Functional Specification documents
• Responsible for functional testing (also preparing test cases) of the modules/components of the product.
• Detect and report bugs/defects found in all the tested modules accordingly.
• Co-ordinate with the UAT team and be aware of the enhancements/modifications needed to be done in the product.

Required Skills:

• Must have handled on site functional consulting assignments where he/she has contributed to
• process consulting/re-engineering
• Must have contributed to enhancing core Product functionality in terms of contribution to road map items based on domain knowledge and market needs including writing detail specifications
