Job summary

Spyne, Gurgaon-based AI operating system for automotive retail, seeks a Business Analyst to partner with Customer Success, Onboarding and Operations to harness data for better decisions.

You will build dashboards, analyze trends, automate reporting with SQL, Python and Excel, and explore AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows within a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics or BI.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Good knowledge of Excel and Python.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Metabase or similar dashboarding tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to explain data and insights clearly.
• Comfortable working with different teams and stakeholders.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst at Spyne, you’ll work closely with Customer Success, Onboarding, Operations, Product and Leadership teams to help them make better decisions using data.

You’ll analyze business performance, build dashboards, automate reporting, and identify opportunities to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

We’re also looking for someone who is comfortable using AI tools to work faster, automate repetitive tasks, and build simple internal solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with Customer Success, Onboarding and Operations teams to understand business problems.
• Build dashboards that help teams track performance and make decisions.
• Analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
• Use Python and Excel to automate reports and recurring tasks.
• Define and track key business metrics.
• Perform root cause analysis and support experiments to improve business outcomes.
• Present insights in a clear and simple way to stakeholders.
• Build self-serve dashboards using Tableau, Power BI or Metabase.
• Work with Product, Engineering and Business teams to improve processes.

AI will be a big part of your work.

We’re looking for someone who actively uses AI tools to improve productivity.

This could include:

• Using AI to analyze data faster.
• Building dashboards with AI assistance.
• Creating simple internal tools or prototypes.
• Automating repetitive workflows.
• Using AI coding assistants to speed up development.
• Exploring new AI tools and identifying practical use cases for the business.

You don’t need experience with every AI tool, but you should enjoy learning and using AI in your day-to-day work.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics or Business Intelligence.
• Strong SQL skills.

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Metabase or similar dashboarding tools.

Good to Have

• Engineering degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college.
• Experience in a SaaS or startup environment.
• Knowledge of data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Experience building internal automation tools or AI-powered workflows.
