Job summary

PriceSenz LLC in India is looking for a Business Analyst - Product Owner to translate business needs into clear user stories and features. You will collaborate with product managers, development teams, and customers to deliver software aligned with strategic goals.

You will own the product backlog, participate in sprint planning, perform UAT, and help define the product roadmap. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential to balance business objectives with technical feasibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 4-6 years of experience in Business Analysis/Product Owner roles in software projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
• Proficient in gathering/documenting requirements using user stories, use cases, flows, and wireframes.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

1. Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to gather and document business requirements.

10. Monitor market trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement and potential new features.
11. Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of product features.
12. Conduct regular meetings and presentations with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, gather feedback, and address concerns.
13. Act as a product evangelist, promoting the product internally and externally and facilitating user training and adoption.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
2. 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role in software development projects.
3. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex concepts into clear and actionable requirements.
5. Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements using techniques such as user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes.
6. Experience working with development teams and a good understanding of software engineering principles.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
8. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
9. Familiarity with project management tools and software development tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
10. Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and tools.
11. Experience in working with customer-facing applications or digital products is preferred.
12. Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align business needs with technical solutions.
