Job summary

Movate in Chennai is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst to bridge clinical stakeholders and technical teams by understanding clinical workflows and translating them into effective EHR configurations.

You will perform hands-on EHR configuration, Tier 3 production support, and workflow/form customization while coordinating with business users, clinical teams, product owners, and the Lightning Step vendor to ensure solutions meet regulatory and operational needs.

Job description

The Senior Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst (BA/BSA) will be responsible for bridging the gap between business/clinical stakeholders and technical teams by understanding clinical workflows, analyzing business requirements, and translating them into effective EHR system configurations and functional solutions.

The role involves hands-on EHR application configuration, Tier 3 production support, workflow and form customization, issue resolution, and enhancement management. The candidate will work closely with business users, clinical teams, product owners, technical teams, and the Lightning Step vendor/team to ensure the application supports business and clinical needs effectively.

• Analyze and document business and clinical requirements and translate them into functional and system solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, clinical teams, product owners, and technical teams to understand workflows and identify system improvements.
• Perform EHR system configuration, including forms, workflows, fields, rules, and other application customizations.
• Provide Tier 3 application support, including troubleshooting, issue analysis, root-cause identification, and resolution of production issues.
• Understand and support clinical workflows such as patient intake, assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and discharge.
• Manage configuration requests, enhancements, production issues, and support activities from requirement gathering through implementation and closure.
• Coordinate with the Lightning Step team/vendor for application-related issues, enhancements, configuration requirements, and technical support.
• Validate system changes to ensure they meet business requirements, clinical workflows, compliance standards, and application best practices.
• Prepare functional documentation, configuration details, process flows, and other relevant project/support documentation.
• Participate in testing, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve application functionality, workflows, and overall system efficiency.
• Act as a key liaison between business/clinical users and technical teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions
